In short, this inverter can work in three modes:
- Isolated mode:
In traditional off-grid solar installations, the inverter generates AC power and acts as a grid manager, controlling the flow of energy between the grid and the batteries.
- Backup Mode:
This type of system is designed for locations where the grid is frequently and for extended periods of time. When this happens, the hybrid inverter operates connected to the AC grid to ensure a power source. The inverter is dedicated to keeping the batteries charged during periods when the grid is present. When the grid goes down, the inverter draws energy from the batteries to bridge the hours of grid outage.
- Self-consumption mode:
Here's how we typically use this inverter: by consuming energy directly from the panels while we're exposed to the sun. If the panels produce more energy than we consume, it's used to charge the batteries, so they can be used at night.
- Sales methods:
The inverter allows you to sell energy from solar panels or batteries to the electric company. You can program the energy you want to sell and the times you want to sell it, both day and night. At the same time, you can purchase electricity from the electric company, day or night, at the desired power level.
